We had a really great experience hiring bikes from these guys today. We’re not regular riders and with 2 kids who aren’t experienced. They fitted us quickly, helped us with a route and were really friendly. We had a wonderful few hours taking in the views. Really recommend!

I was very unsure I would be able to ride a bike due to a disc issue; however the level of friendly service we had, encouragement and consideration was enough to make me give it a go. I had one of the electric bikes and 3 1/2 hours later we had enjoyed a stretch of the Tarka Trail. Fantastic weather, cloudy after rain and it was one of the best days out we had. Will become an annual part of our holiday in the area without a doubt and can recommend this business highly.

Great location right on the Tarka Trail from Braunton, friendly guys with a good choice of bikes. Reasonable day rate at £15pp and they also made sure we had a bike lock, helmets and puncture repair kit. Also free parking on site making it super easy. Would definitely recommend!

We rented bikes from Waterside Bike Hire recently and the whole process was seamless. Simple online booking system and we picked the bikes up the next day, they offered us different types depending on how we wanted to ride, we chose the more casual models that were perfect for a leisurely ride. The views along the trail are stunning, so much wildlife to see also. Thanks for your professionalism and an easy pick up and drop off guys!

Brilliant service. All the e bikes were suited to us according to need and ability. This happened once we turned up and all the instructions and advice was given. All the staff were friendly and highly knowledgable. Wouldn't go anywhere else now, brilliant ride around the river, over the bridge to a beautiful spot with a cafe and gorgeous view. Then on to a pretty little town. Did all that in a morning with the e bikes!

Great place to hire bikes from, park up and enjoy the Tarka Trail. Follow signs through the gated industrial site. Hired a bike for my wife, found and adjusted a lovely Romet Stepover. Set off for traffic free cycle to Bideford. Great choice of bikes, kids, trailers etc Left the car parked up there (bonus) Many thanks to the chaps there, really pleasant and helpful (allowed us to shorten our hire since the weather had gone poor). The tarka trail is ideal for a family cycle. Flat smooth surface, no hills other than bridge - Bideford is about 12mls. Bring a padlock so you can lock up at the station and stretch your legs. Keep up the superb service Chaps, hope it's a real success for you.

Rented four bikes for a day, and had a great time along the picturesque Tarka Trail. Really good quality bikes and friendly & helpful staff (having only started business in April). Would definitely recommend!

Hired a bike from here, very friendly service, with a great bike supplied. Free parking to park your car for the day, right next to the Tarka trail. We biked into Instow, a little village with some lovely sandy beaches and great pubs to eat and drink at. We had a 7 and 8 year old with us, we biked from the hire shop @10am, into Instow, had a Sunday roast with drinks, then biked back and arrived back at the hire shop at around 4pm great service, good quality bikes hired
